The Abstinence Project

The Abstinence Project aims to expose the harms of abstinence only sex education through the art of storytelling. Abstinence, the message that abstaining from sex is an option, is an important message in any sex education program…but abstinence can’t be the only message. 

We have hosted community events where people share their stories and actively collect stories about abstinence-only sex education through the website. Check out the site for more information, to read through the stories that have been submitted so far, and to write about your own experiences.
